Addition and Alterations
Summary:
Design and construction of an 8 classroom, 2 story addition with storage space on the lower level. Much attention and detail was given to emphasize and maintain the classic architectural facade of the original building while introducing modern material and new technology. 2 nd Floor STEM classroom spaces were designed with acoustical roof decks, exposed structure and MEP systems, large skylights, folding partitions and polished concrete floors to encourage learning and collaboration. A 2-story connecting corridor overlooks a new open courtyard and play area.
